Joshua D. Reid, 25, of Libby died on Saturday, Aug. 1 in Libby.

He was born Aug. 3, 1983 at Bonners Ferry, Idaho to Marvin and Sandy Reid. He grew up and attended school in Troy and Libby. He was very active in wrestling and football, graduating with the class of 2003.

He worked for Hoodoo Mountain Pellets for two years, and then worked for Thompson Construction for four years. He enjoyed collecting and shooting guns, riding ATVs and being with his family.

He was preceded in death by a grandfather.

Survivors include his fiancée, Jessica Maiden of Libby; two daughters, Zoe Reid and Hailie Maiden – both of Libby; his father, Marvin Reid of Alaska; his mom, Sandy Burgess and husband Jeff of Bonners Ferry, Idaho; three sisters, Bethany White and husband Birrell of St. Regis; Rachel and husband Barry Bennis of California; and Peace Knutsen of Fortine; stepbrother, Jesse Adkison of Virginia; grandma, Bessie Reid of Riverside, Calif.; and future and other in-laws, one niece, one nephew and numerous aunts and uncles.

Services will be Friday, Aug. 7 at 11 a.m. at the Assembly of God Church in Libby.
