Martha Lynn O'Neill

Martha Lynn (Nickerson) O’Neill, 55, of Libby died April 13, 2009.

She was born on May 14, 1953 in Kellogg, Idaho to Roy and Lelia Nickerson. She grew up on the family ranch in Kingston, Idaho.

Mrs. O’Neill enjoyed her family and friends, animals – especially her dogs – traveling, baking and playing cards, bingo and slot machines.

She is survived by her husband, Pat; a daughter, Deanna Widic and husband Allen of Colorado Springs, Colo.; sons, Gregg Vandine of Tucson, Ariz.; and Bill Vandine and wife Christy of Evergreen, Colo.; seven grandchildren; parents, Roy and Lelia Nickerson; sisters, Bella Hussey and Peggy Morris; brothers, Glen and Jerry Nickerson; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Michelle Vandine; and a brother, Gary Nickerson.

A memorial service was held at the Sands Motel and Café in Smelterville, Idaho, on April 17. The family requests that memorials be sent in Mrs. O’Neill’s name to Shoshone Pet Rescue of Kellogg, Idaho, or Kootenai Pets For Life in Libby.
