Letter: Libby Care Center residents enjoy play

Dear Editor:

Recently, Libby Care Center had the privilege of having the New Horizons after-school program from Troy’s Morrison Elementary perform for us the “Cinderella! Cinderella!” play.

Not only did they bring in their own sets and get our curiosity going, they fulfilled the job by performing as if they had been acting all their young lives. We residents wish to thank these children who made our spring warm and sunny with their bright young faces and thank their parents for seeing to it that they were able to visit Libby Care Center.

We would also like to thank Ralph Stever and Keith Meyers for encouraging our youth to spread their artistic wings and soar to heights that they would not have been able to without the support of folks like you.

We were impressed and still hear the echo of young voices as the spirit of that day lives on in the twinkles they left behind.
