Columbia Falls scored four runs in the bottom of the third inning en route to a 5-0 victory over Libby on Tuesday evening. It was the Wildkats’ first victory over LHS in two years.

Morgan Rowe threw a three-hit shutout for the home squad. She has won three of four games this year.

Nicky Lapka had two of the three hits for Libby, including a double that represented the only extra-base hit for either team. Alysha Martin also reached base on a single. Taylor Armstrong threw a complete-game, seven-hitter for the Loggers.

Libby (4-5) heads to the Frenchtown Tournament on Friday and Saturday.
