Hand, Pepiot nab wins in dual against Eureka

Troy’s Cassidy Hand and Jackie Pepiot each recorded victories in the Lady Trojans’ dual on Tuesday afternoon against Eureka.

Hand rolled to a 6-1, 6-1 win over Karina Hoflee at No. 2 singles. Pepiot swept past Veda Henion, 6-0, 7-5, at No. 4 singles.

Jessica Lyons dropped a 6-2, 6-2 decision and Tara Duzan fell by a 6-3, 6-3 count. In doubles, Troy’s Kristin Parks and Jordan Stapley came up short, 6-3, 6-1.

The Lady Trojans will play host to Libby this coming Tuesday.
