Letter: Freedom Walk in Libby draws 247 participants

Dear Editor:

We just want to say thank you to the Libby community for its wonderful display of patriotism on Sept. 11, 2008. Once again, this little town has shown that when asked to pull together and show support for something it believes in; it does.

In all, 247 of you joined in the Freedom Walk to commemorate the seventh anniversary of Sept. 11, 2001, and to honor our veterans past and present. By comparison, Kalispell had only 12 walkers.

A very special thank-you is extended to those various groups that participated in the Freedom Walk. Again, thank you very much.
