Stanley E. Person

Stanley E. Person, 46, died Sunday, Oct. 12, 2008 at St. John’s Lutheran Hospital in Libby.

He was born in Eureka, Calif., on Jan. 2, 1962, the son of John and Susan F. (Lay) Person. He grew up and attended school in Libby, and graduated with the class of 1980.

He served in the U.S. Navy, and returned to Libby and worked at the local saw mill and in Bonners Ferry, Idaho. He then worked as an over-the-road trucker. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, tinkering and woodworking.

Survivors include his parents John and Sue Person; a sister Karen Warner and husband Joe; and a brother Harvey Person – all of Libby; and his wife Colleen and three children of Shelton, Wash.

Services will be Saturday, Oct. 18 at 1 p.m., at The Family Worship Center, 2043 Highway 37 N in Libby.
