Letter: Obama's victory renews faith in our country

Dear Editor:

Nov. 4, 2008, was a great day in the history of our nation.

I was thrilled and proud to watch democracy at work as voters turned out in record numbers to elect Sen. Barack Obama.

I believe our standing in the world view was renewed and my faith in our country restored. I wish President-elect Obama great wisdom, strength and grace as he leads us to a brighter future.
