Troy will attend the Bonners Ferry Invitational this Saturday, kicking off their track season in Idaho.

Of the 24 Troy High School students who signed up this year, five seniors are returning: solo senior girl, Danielle Cummings, and four senior boys: Jordan Hall, Matt Roeder, William Swimley and Ryan Thomason, a sprinter/thrower who won last year's Coach award.

Three athletes who competed in last year's Class B State meet will also return: junior Scott Harper, who competed in long jump, sophomore Allie Maestas, who competed in the 400 meter dash, and junior Aaron Palmer, who took first place in javelin and had the most varsity points for boys last year.

Palmer also broke the Troy High School record last season with a record toss of 186'1” at the District meet.

Other returning athletes include junior Mary Bass, a distance runner who had the most varsity points for the girls last year.
