Troy athletes honored

The following students at Troy Junior-Senior High School were recognized for:

Softball Letter Winners — Megan Etienne, Delsey Olds, Liz Straley, Teresa Wagner, Alicia Anderson, Molly Harpole, Dolly Blata, Rachel Garcia, Ashley Paasch, Kristin Parks, Michelle Pillans, Megan Cummings and Cassidy Hand. Olds also received the award for most inspirational and most valuable senior. Paasch received the award for most improved.

Tennis Letter Winners — Girls Faith Stapley, Allison Hight, Sara Helmrick and Kelly Kinney; Boys Matt Rogers, Joe Day, Jake Higgins and Brandon Rebo; girls doubles, Steph Marshall and Jessica Lyons, and Tara Duzan and Ande Hawkins; and boys doubles, Jesse Day and Shado Garrett, and Mike Hirst and Robb Higgins.

Track Letter Winners — Girls Danielle Cummings, Allie Maestas and Jordan Stapley. Maestas also received the award for most valuable player. Boys Brady Thompson, Ryan Thomason, Dalton Powell, Aaron Palmer, Cullen Metz, Jacob Lopez, Scott Harper, Kalip Gregory, Dillon Curry and Jake Alexander. Thompson also received the award for most inspirational; Palmer received the award for most valuable player, and Alexander received the coaches award.
