Country club crowns champions

The Cabinet View Country Club played host to the men's association championship last weekend.

Playing under a 27-hole stroke place format, men's club champion was crowned as Jimmy Mee with Vicki Randall garnering honors as ladies club champ and Gary Peck taking the senior club title.

The Tuesday night men's league playoffs came to a close last Tuesday with the Libby Distributing team pulling off the victory over the Timberline Auto team.

Libby baseball team plays at home Friday

The Libby American Legion baseball team is scheduled to play at home on Friday against district opponent Mission Valley.

The Loggers played on Wednesday at Kalispell but those games were played after the newspaper's production deadline.

Libby will head to Eureka on Sunday for a conference doubleheader. Then, the Loggers end the regular season on Monday with a single, nine-inning game against Glacier at Whitefish.
