Debra L. Marshall
Debra Lynn Marshall, 51, died Thursday, Jan. 24 at her home in Libby. She was born in Lewistown, Mont. on July 3, 1956 to Herbert and Betty Tindall.
She was raised and educated in Lewistown, graduating from Fergus County High School in 1975. She married Bill Marshall on Aug. 22, 1976 in Lewistown.
They had resided in various places in Montana including the Lewistown, Great Falls and Kalispell areas as well as Utah before coming to Libby 16 years ago. While in Libby, she and her husband had operated All Electronics and the J.C. Penney Catalog Store. Deb later had worked in the Libby Public School System as an aide and substitute teacher. She received a degree in Elementary Education from MSU Billings in December 2006.
She had been a devoted wife, mom and grandma and had a passion for teaching. She enjoyed crocheting and had been an avid reader. She was preceded in death by her father.
Survivors include: her husband Bill at the family home in Libby; her children, Jamie Sanderson and her husband Tyson, Chris Marshall and his wife Angela, and Katie Marshall, all of Libby; her mother Betty of Lewistown; sisters Nancy Bunn and her husband Roy of Lewistown; and Sue Eades of Clinton, Iowa; her grandchildren, Maryssa, Savanna, Austin, Alyssa and Tanner; her mother and father-in-law, Colleen and Joseph Marshall of Orem, Utah; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday at the Libby Christian Church with Pastor Phil Alspaw officiating. Interment services will follow at the City of Libby Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 3-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Nelson & Vial Funeral Home.
