Lady Trojans back in action

The Lady Trojans are getting their groove back after a bout with the flu, stunning Superior in their home court, 60-36.

Delsey Olds led Troy with 16 points, scoring double digits along with two other Trojans, Liz Straley and Molly Harpole, who added 15 points each.

Kolton Plouffe led in scoring for Superior with 16 points, also nabbing 5 steals.

The Lady Trojans took control early on, with Olds and Harpole scoring 15 of Troy's 20 point first quarter to the Bobcats' 8.

The second period was similarly dominated by Troy, who outscored Superior, 18-6.

The Lady Trojans, who were just beginning to recover from the flu according to coach Troy DeBoard, didn't fair as well against Thompson Falls Friday night in Troy.

The Bluehawks defeated Troy, 50-24 - despite an earlier victory in the season by Troy of 64-59.

Thompson Falls, who is 4-1 in conference and 6-4 overall, led 21-15 at the half, outscoring the Trojans 29-9 in the second half.

Molly Harpole led in scoring for Troy with 11 points.

The Lady Trojans, currently 7-4, are on the road this weekend, battling Plains Friday night and Noxon Saturday night.
