Barbara Joyce Graham, 75, of Libby passed away on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2008 with her family at her side. She was born in Tacoma, Wash. on Dec. 2, 1932.

Barbara moved to Libby early in her life where she raised her family. She was a very independent and strong willed woman and she instilled that independence in everyone whose lives crossed her path. She was an avid bingo player and could be found at the senior citizens center enjoying her favorite pastime.

The last few years of Barbara's life were a struggle because of increasing health issues, but her dear friend and neighbor Dottie McCarty and ex-son-in-law Ron Wilkes provided daily assistance, all the time. The love they showed Barbara helped make her life a little easier and gave her family needed assurance of her excellent care.

Survivors include: her children Tim Graham and his wife Bonnie of Libby, Jerry Graham of Great Falls, Becky Preidis and her husband Devon of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and Wendy Aubert and her husband Bill of Hungry Horse, Mont. Barbara enjoyed being a grandmother to seven and a great-grandmother to one.

Services will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2008 at the Nelson & Vial Funeral Home in Libby. Visitation was from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday. Local arrangements are by the Nelson & Vial Funeral Home in Libby.
