Donal E. Croucher

Donal E. Croucher, 39, died Sunday, Dec. 23 in Forsyth, Mont. as the result of injuries received in a vehicle accident. He was born in Jacksonville, Fla. on Oct. 7, 1968 to Edward and Christine (Brock) Croucher. Don was raised and educated in many places in the United States and Japan while his father served with the United States Marine Corps.

During his adult life, Don had pursued several things including carpentry, and commercial fishing and logging in Alaska. He also attended college in Helena and later in Florida, receiving an associate's degree in forestry technology.

He and his wife had resided in Glendive where Don had attended Dawson Community College, majoring in computer science. An avid outdoorsman, Don enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping.

Surviving him are his wife Kathy and children Eddie and Tana Croucher, as well as step-children Desirae Riva, Amanda Thorstenson, Ronald Riva and Michael Riva, all of Glendive; his parents, Ed and Chris Croucher of Libby; brothers Wesley and his wife Elena Croucher of Anacortes, Wash.; and Scott and his wife Pam Croucher of Mechanicsville, Md.; and a granddaughter Emily.

Services were on Monday at the Libby Christian Church. Interment services followed at the City of Libby Cemetery.
