Neal R. Kammerzell

Neal R. Kammerzell, 78, died Monday, Feb. 25, 2008 at the Libby Care Center. He was born on March 13, 1929 at Denver, Colo. to Henry and Marie Baumgardentr Kammerzell.

He enlisted in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

He moved to Libby from California in 1979. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Alvin, Edwin and Leonard and a sister Elsie.

Survivors include his wife Mildred Kammerzell of Libby; children Don Kammerzell and his wife Barbara and Gilbert Kammerzell; brothers Irwin Kammerzell and Herman Kammerzell; sisters Dorothy, Elsie, Doris, Esther and Donna; a stepson Mark Baker; stepdaughter Kerri Garrison; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 29, 2008 at the Nelson & Vial Funeral Home in Libby. Burial will take place in Denver, Colo. at a later date.
