Waiting for something of substance

To the Editor:

I found it puzzling when I read that the Libby School Board, in a 5-2 vote, took it upon themselves to "support" mining.

I have no idea how a yea or nay vote to endorse a meaningless resolution has anything to do with our public school system. Judging from the syntax of the mining resolution itself, as elected officials entrusted with overseeing our children's education, I can only hope there was some concern for the grammar used in aforementioned document.

I can't wait to see what next month's "lengthy discussion" brings!
