While the Troy High School girls basketball team played for the first time on the home court Thursday, the boys will make their initial appearance in town on Saturday afternoon against Superior.

The girls will play at 1:30 p.m., with the boys to follow at 3 p.m. The Trojan boys are off to a 2-0 start with a pair of impressive victories and were scheduled to play their conference opener on Thursday at Thompson Falls.

Meanwhile, Libby will also play its first games in front of the home fans on Saturday. The Loggers will match up with Flathead out of Kalispell. The boys are set to begin at 4:15 p.m., with the girls to follow at 6 p.m.

The Libby boys split their first two games while the girls came up short in both of their tournament appearances at Hamilton and Corvallis. The two teams played on Thursday at conference foe Bigfork in games after presstime.
