Letter: Washington resident appreciates hospital

Dear Editor:

I was recently an out-of-town visitor to Libby for Thanksgiving. The night before I had an accident which required the services of the local emergency room.

While I was a bit apprehensive about getting treatment at a small-town local hospital, I ended up being very impressed with the quality of service in Libby. Dr. Jay Maloney and the other emergency room personnel at St. John’s Lutheran Hospital were extremely professional and thorough in explaining my treatment options.

They also checked me for other injuries and took the time to explain how to make my injury heal quicker. 

Libby should be proud of the quality of service available at the local hospital and should appreciate the dedication and professionalism of its medical personnel.
