Obituary: Dorothy Kirgan Frost
Dorothy Kirgan Frost, 78, died on Nov. 24, 2008, in Brigham City, Utah.
She was born in Nephi, Utah to John Haynes Kirgan and Arphie Magdalena Thorsen. She was member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she was active in teaching Primary and working with the young men in her ward. She was sealed to her husband in the Salt Lake Temple. She worked many years at the BIA Indian School in Brigham City, Utah and at Hill Air Force Base. She lived most of her life in Utah and lived eight years in Troy, Mont.
Preceding her in death were her husband, LaMoyne W. Frost; her son, Alan Frank Frost; her parents; her sister, Carla K. Christensen; her brother, Laron V. Wilson; her stepmother, Mable T. Anderton; one grandson and two great-granddaughters.
Surviving her are her children, Vicki Linn (Joe) Hutchins of Willard, Utah; Kathleen Frost of Libby; Scott J. (Allie) Frost of Libby; Katauna F. Maxwell of Ogden, Utah; Alan M. Frost of Puyallup, Wash.; LaMoyne F. Frost of Puyallup; and Nichole A. (Jayden) Rosa of Ogden. She has seven grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, Dec. 3 at 11 a.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City, Utah. Friends may call on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m., and on Wednesday from 10-10:40 a.m., at Myers Mortuary. Interment will be at the Brigham City Cemetery.
She requested that instead of flowers, donate to the Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.
