Dora Marie Eckhoff, 70, died July 27, 2008, of cancer.
Dora Marie Countryman was born July 1, 1938, in Addy, Wash., and was raised in Troy, Mont. She was a homemaker. In 1963, she moved to Portland, Ore., and lived intermittently in Portland and Troy, settling in Portland in 2000.
In 1955, she married James L. Eckhoff. Her husband died in 1998.
Survivors include her daughter, Rebecca Roarke; sons, Duane K. and D.J.; sisters, Erna Carr, Joan Basham, Carol Johnson, Velma Potts and Mattie Dickenson; brother, George Countryman; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The family asks that remembrances go to any cancer organizations. Crown handled arrangements.
