Claire A. Schneider

Claire A. Schneider, 92, of Libby, died Aug. 7, 2008, at Libby Care Center.

He was born at Libby on May 28, 1916, the son of John and Clarissa (Hollenbeck) Schneider.

Mr. Schneider will be remembered for always helping people, even after confronting challenges with his own health. Every Sunday, he brought the Sunday paper to the residents of the Libby Care Center, rain or shine.

Survivors include his wife Cleo Marie Schneider, Libby; stepdaughter April Filsman, Libby; stepson Wesley Johnson, Titusville, Fla.; a sister Frances O’man, Everett, Wash.; three grandchildren including Jenese Marie Walker and husband David; four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews including John Schneider and wife Theresa, Libby.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Aug. 13 from 1-8 p.m. at Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home in Libby.

Services will be held Thursday, Aug. 14 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
