Barbara A. Ursacki

Barbara Ann Ursacki, 78, died April 9, 2008 at St. John’s Lutheran Hospital in Libby surrounded by her family. She was born on November 16, 1929 at Covina, California to Edgar and Eystle (White) Piper.

She retired to the Libby area 9 years ago to be close to her family. She was a loving and caring woman with a great sense of humor. When she was able she loved to knit and crochet, play the piano, dance, was an avid reader and an excellent cook. Her greatest joy in life was to be with her family and her pets. She was preceded in death by her beloved son Dondi.

Survivors include her husband Ken Ursacki, Kingsgate, British Columbia; 6 daughters Marilynn Knaver, Buffalo, Wyo.; Elizabeth Spurgeon, Lathrop, Missouri; Beverly Fleener, McKenney, Tex.; Barbara Wieneke, Limerick, Penn.; Catherine Richards, Great Falls, Mont.; Shannan Ginnaty, Libby, Mont.; Stephen Downes, Champaign, Illinois; David Downes, State College, Penn.; a brother Grover Piper, Swoop, Virginia; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Nelson & Vial Funeral Home & Crematory in Libby.
