Taking care of our own

To the Editor:
We are a small group of competent, dedicated volunteers providing 24/7 Crisis Line, Shelter and Services to domestic violence and sexual assault victims in Lincoln County.
We were informed at the end of June that we had lost our funding from the Montana Board of Crime Control.
Lincoln County has historically not gotten their fair share to help us help our own victims. Lincoln County has become a victim just like our domestic violence victims.
The question Lincoln County citizens need to ask is, why are domestic violence funds being awarded for other than need and quality of services and results? You the taxpayer deserve answers as to how your taxes are being spent!
