Does new bill destroy freedom of speech?

| October 5, 2007 12:00 AM

To the Editor:

The Senate Democrats just passed the hate crimes bill that they say will keep us from criticizing gays, but in reality it is designed to eliminate freedom of speech.

Bush has said he will veto it. He's probably lying again and this measure will become law. What does this prove? That the Democrats and Republicans are "good cop, bad copping us, that they are both working toward the same goal, the destruction of our freedoms.

In the last election we demanded change with our votes, but nothing happened. Is it because our politicians no longer work for us, but for the international bankers, the owners of the private bank known as the Federal Reserve? Also known as the Bilderbergers, the Council on Foreign Relations, and the Illuminati, their goal is to enslave us in what they call the New World Order.

The only way to save ourselves is to wake up to what is happening and vote for free candidates like Ron Paul.
