Needing a better system for hunters

To the Editor:

To hunt or not to hunt. Ever try to see what is private or huntable land?

Most is not posted as our lawmakers have seen to it that it is not required. Forestry maps are not worth the paper it is printed on as they are not accurate.

The result is a crap shoot for hunters as to where it is legal to hunt. We need land that is private and not huntable to be posted. Too many hunters are now facing fines for hunting on private yet unposted land.
