Libby man missing since Saturday

David Thompson Search and Rescue is searching for a missing Libby man who acquaintances said is depressed and possibly suicidal, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office.

Michael Beckman, 52, of 4727 Granite Lake Rd., was reported missing on Saturday, Oct. 27, after he told a friend he was going for a walk.

Beckman was last seen on Pipe Creek Road near mile marker 17.

According to an acquaintance, Beckman recently transferred his vehicle title into another friend's name.

Beckman is 6 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs 190 pounds. He has a mustache and straight dark hair past his shoulders. He also wears glasses.

Beckman was last seen wearing a light jacket, T-shirt and jeans.

The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office would like anyone who has seen him or picked him up to call the office at 293-4112.
