Alice J. Robinson

Alice J. Robinson, 50, of Libby died Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at her home in Libby from cancer.

She was born Feb. 23, 1957 in Libby to David W & Jean Kearney Robinson. She spent her early years in Libby.

At the age of 12 the family moved to Greenville, S.C. for 3 years. In 1972 the family moved to Great Falls.

In 1975 Alice graduated from Great Falls High. She attended the University of Puget Sound where she earned a B.S. in Chemistry. Alice then attended the University of Utah Medical School where she earned a Medical Degree in Anesthesiology. She then had four years of specialized training in anesthesiology. In 1987 she moved back to Libby.

Alice enjoyed African drumming and dancing, yoga, gardening, water skiing, snow skiing and being a mother. Her father, David, three brothers David Jr., Thomas and Mark, and a sister Meg preceded her in death.

Survivors include: her husband Joe Cielak of Libby; three children Sperry Robinson, Louis & Jonny Cielak all of Libby; mother Jean Robinson of Lakeside; sister Polly Addison of Seattle, Wash.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at a later date. Local arrangements are by the Nelson & Vial Funeral Home in Libby.
