Pat Field

Pat Field, former teacher at Libby High School, died May 6, 2007, in Texas.

She was born Nov. 15, 1930, to William B. and Myrtle Russell in Silden, Texas.

Pat was a teacher for 47 years and also worked as a secretary on radio and television stations in Texas. Pat taught in Libby from 1970 to 1981. She took a leave of absence to care for her mother in Texas and then returned in 1990 and taught until 1995.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bob Field; and brother, Rayford. B. Russell. She loved all her students and loved the work she did as a teacher. Pat loved to hunt and hike and was well known for her wonderful photography. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Libby.

Pat moved back to Texas in the spring of 2007 to live with her nephew, Scott Russell until her death.
