Marion G. Carr, 84, of Troy went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, April 27, 2007.

Born Marion Gladys Goldsmith on Dec. 18, 1922, to Carl Goldsmith and Sadie Emmaline Nopp, in Spokane, Wash., she spent most of her life in Troy where she was raised and educated.

Marion loved her flower gardens, hummingbirds, old dogs, new babies, feeding her deer and birds and the serenity of the Kootenai River. She also enjoyed sewing, knitting, china painting, reading and watching old movies.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Carl; daughter, Linda; and grandson, Tavis.

Marion's life was dedicated to her mother, her grandchildren and her many dear friends.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 5, at the Troy Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Kootenai Senior Citizens Center in Troy.
