Dean Gring

Dean R. Gring, 73, a resident of Libby for the past 40 years, died Wednesday, March 14, 2007, in Libby.

He was born June 23, 1933, in Lakeview, Mich., to Max and Barbara Briggs Gring.

Dean served in the U.S. Air Force. He came to Libby in 1967.

Dean was a longtime employee of St. Regis Paper Co. and later Champion International until his retirement.

He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Dean was preceded in death by his parents and by his brothers Robert and Charles.

Survivors include his children, Michael Gring and his wife, Shirley, and David Gring and his wife, Ronda, all of Clio, Mich., Robert Gring and his wife, Linda, of Flint, Mich., Richard Gring of Millington, Mich., Cindy Wegher and her husband, Joe, of Flushing, Mich., and Rusty Gring of Libby; a brother, Don Gring and his wife, Sherry, of Libby; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
