Patsy Arndt

Patricia Ann "Patsy" Arndt, 70, died Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2007, at her home in Murdock, Wash.

She was born Feb. 21, 1936, in Troy, the first of four children to Robert and Edith Yeager Bennett. She was raised in Libby and received a bachelor of science degree in nursing from University of Washington in 1973.

Patsy married Bert K. Arndt in Monroe, Wash., on Nov. 17, 1956. They lived the past 10 years in Murdock.

She belonged to the Oregon Button Club and Vancouver Doll Club. She enjoyed sewing and quilting.

She is survived by her husband; son Keith Arndt of Monroe, Wash.; daughter Melanie Sessions and husband Jeffrey of Lake Oswego, Ore.; grandchildren Erika Sessions and Amanda Sessions; sister Nancy Sofie of Murdock, Wash.; and two brothers, Robert Bennett of Newport, Wash., and Donald Bennett of Libby.

Private family services have been held. Private cremation was held at Win-Quatt Crematory in The Dalles, Ore., with Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
