Hairstyle shouldn't be an issue

To the Editor:

We are writing in referrance to the article about Erik Miller's hair. Who cares if this young man wants to dye it pink and wear it in pigtails; it shouldn't be an issue.

We think the administration or "greater powers" should have better things to be concerning themselves with than how some young man wants to wear his hair on the basketball floor. We have watched Erik play and he is a great asset to the Troy Trojans. We think it is ridiculous that something like this was even said.

Do they really have so much time on their hands that they need to start giving our kids fashion advice? We weren't aware that was what we were paying them for.
