Coalition compared to turkey

To the Editor:

Good luck to the coalition.

After attending meetings for around two years, I think I've finally got it. How to live in the forest, have logging and a productive mill, protect special places, and still keep motorized access. And wouldn't you know it, it took a turkey to open my eyes to compromise.

I have a turkey who wants to sit on my cabin porch. I would rather he didn't, so we compromise. He sits and I clean up.

I can live with a turkey.
