Put a stop to the madness

To the Editor:
This is in response to a letter to the editor in your Nov. 28 edition. I couldn't agree more with the letter from William Payne. They have done everything under the sun to stop the mine on upper Libby Creek. The U.S. Forest Service and the Fish and Game have lost all touch of the fact that the lands belong to the people. They treat it like it's their private domain.
Refusing to snow plow the road leading to the mine under the guise of protecting a few non-existing fish, is a new low, even for them.
We need jobs in this area so our young people will have jobs rather than leaving this area to find work after they graduate. Write or call your representatives to bring them to their senses.
