To the Editor:

Concerning Mike Crill's latest letter: "New legislation makes for stronger laws…."

Posted: Wednesday, Nov 28, 2007. I am a little confused, Mike; Would you define Hubris for me?

And having dealt with the Montana DEQ folks for 15 plus years, I do admit to a certain "shaking and trembling in my boots," but it has more to do with the pain of biting my tongue out of a sense of civility when faced with bureacratic bumbling and institutionalized "throw money at it," than true fear.

When the power to ruin an individual's business is held by a young, recent graduate with a 'B.A. Environmental Science,' playing a hunch game because the degree is from the School of Liberal Arts and not the School of Science, I shudder in my boots, bite my tongue, and tremble from the self inflicted pain.
