Loggers pin their way to victory, place third in tourney

Pinning every Bonners Ferry middle weight between 145-171 last Thursday night in Libby, the Loggers won, 66-26.

Over the weekend, led by junior Justin Graham (189), the Loggers placed third with a team score of 109 in the Superior Invitational wrestling tournament, which hosted 12 teams overall.

Ronan beat Frenchtown, 213.5-184 to clinch first and second respectively.

Steve Gary (171) led against Bonners Ferry last Thursday night, who pinned his opponent, Justin Spease, in 27 seconds, Dakota Bassett (112), Levi Edwards-Myslicki (119), Skyler Dilley (130), Kody Berget (145), Dean Willey (152) and Seth Wright (160) also scored by pins for the Loggers.

Bonners Ferry scored a lone pin in the 105 weight.
