Bringing good news to good people

| August 29, 2007 12:00 AM

To the Editor:

I would like to draw attention to a good issue concerning some good people with a good vision.

Bill Clark and his son, Micah, share a vision for "Camp Patriot," a non-profit organization that will accommodate 20 disabled veterans per week for a relaxing recreational fling here in the great Northwest.

Yes, that's right, they have many people committed to funding this venture to benefit those gallant protectors of our freedom, disabled, and in need of encouragement.

This is not a bad thing for our locality. They will not leech from any entities, but be sponsored solely by willing participants. To top if off, it will provide 30-40 year-round jobs.

My plea to the public, town officials, county commissioners, Forest Service, etc., they need your support, this will be a large facility hopefully close to the Libby area.
