Michael A. Puffer, 56, of Libby, died Monday, April 9, 2007, at St. John's Lutheran Hospital in Libby from natural causes.
He was born Aug. 28, 1950, in San Francisco to Gordan and Mary Michels Puffer.
Michael graduated from Washington High School in San Francisco.
He entered the U.S. Army in 1971, served in Viet Nam and was honorably discharged in May 1973. Michael moved to Libby in 1977. He enjoyed living in the Libby area, fishing its rivers and streams, his church, bowling and sports.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Anderson and her husband, James, of Reno, Nev.; a brother, John Anderson and his wife, Meria Eden, of Reno; nieces Teriessa, Kateena and Paula Anderson, all of Reno; an aunt, Irene Homer, of San Francisco; and a cousin, Catherine Latta of Corte Madrra, Calif.
Services will be held at St. Anthony Church in Reno.
Nelson & Vial Funeral Home in Libby handled arrangements.
