Frank Finkbiener

Frank H. Finkbiener, 71, died Thursday, April 12, 2007 at Libby Care Center following an extended illness.

He was born on September 1, 1935, to Godfrey F. and Bertha Finkbiener in Firestill, S.D.

He was a longtime construction worker, working locally on the Libby Dam project.

Survivors include daughters Colleen Volkers and husband Andy, and Rhea Crismore and husband Stu, all of Libby, and Peggy Early and husband Dan of Deer Park, Wash.; sisters, Lidia Emery and Ida Fjeldseth both of South Dakota; 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was proceded in death by a grandson, Kyle Volkers; a sister Elsie and a brother Oscar.

Services were held Tuesday, April 16 at the City of Libby Cemetery.
