Pat Hawkins

Patrick Kelly Hawkins, 49, died Friday, March 30, 2007, at his home in Libby.

He was born Nov. 20, 1957, at LaPuente, Calif., to William J. and Odette Amaru Hawkins and spent the majority of his childhood in Oregon and Hawaii.

Pat had been a resident of the Kootenai Valley for over 20 years and had worked as a logging truck driver and long-haul driver as well as working as a Forest Service firefighter.

He enjoyed the great outdoors of Montana and especially sharing that with his sons Dillon and David.

Surviving him are his children, Dillon and David Hawkins of Libby, Monique Brown of Spokane, Wash., and Nicole Hawkins of Huntington Beach, Calif.; his mother, Odette of Corvallis, Ore., and his father, William of Camas, Wash.; and sisters Elizabeth Johnson of Camas and Christine Caster of Corvallis.

Private services will be at a later date. Interment will be in the City of Libby Cemetery under the direction of Nelson & Vial Funeral Home.
