John Howard Hicks

John Howard Hicks, infant son of John and Raquel Hicks of East Helena, died Saturday, Sept. 23, 2006, in Missoula from complications from a perforated intestine.

John Howard was born a healthy 1-pound, 15-ounce baby at 26 weeks gestation in Great Falls on Sept. 2, 2006.

He is survived by his parents; paternal grandmother Marie Hicks of Helena; uncle David Hicks of DeBorgia; maternal grandmother Marina Duran, uncles Roldan, Raul, Rex, Danny and Jessilo, aunts Rebecca, Rengie and Reynilda, cousins Raffy, Jerome, Kevin, Jerby, Danreb, Dannica and Dodon, all of the Phillipines; and the Orr families in Libby.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Helena. Interment followed at Resurrection Cemetery. Casket bearers were Mike Uda and Robert Veach, Jr., and honorary bearer was Jay Shelden.

Service arrangements were under the direction of Retz Funeral Home in Helena.
