Jacqueline Toothman

Jacqueline Jean Toothman, 77, died Monday, Sept. 18, 2006, at her home in Libby.

She was born Oct. 21, 1928, in Nebraska to Jack and Dollie Willis. Jacqueline moved shortly thereafter with her family to Idaho, where they lived in Caldwell and Nampa.

She married Okey B. Toothman in 1945. They moved to southern California in the 1950s, residing in San Bernardino County for many years. While there, she was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Jacqueline remained in California until coming to the Libby area five years ago.

Known to family and friends alike as simply "Grandma," she had a great love for her family and deep faith in God. Jacqueline enjoyed working in her yard and had been a prolific reader.

She was preceded in death by her husband and grandsons Blake and Patrick Toothman.

She is survived by her children, Linda Huffman and husband Wes of Libby, and Gene Toothman and wife Carol, Jack Toothman and wife Cristy and Sandra Damon and husband Bob, all of Cambridge, Idaho; siblings Betty Heffel, Mary Walters, Patricia Pine and Arden Willis, all of Idaho, and Frank Willis of Arizona; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

Graveside services will be held next week at Desert Lawn Memorial Park in Calimesa, Calif.

Local arrangements were handled by Nelson & Vial Funeral Home.
