Mildred Gould

Mildred Gould, 95, died Sunday, Sept. 10, 2006, at Libby Care Center.

She was born June 5, 1911, in Billings, one of Wiley and Lilly Lena Betz Moody's nine children. She was the last of the Moody children.

Mildred moved to Libby in 1915 with her parents.

She went to Pipe Creek School.

Mildred married when she was 16. She moved to Portland and raised her children before coming back to Libby in 1950, where her husband, Lloyd, operated Lloyd's Tune Up on Highway 2 until 1977.

Mildred loved square dancing, doing the calling and teaching new students.

She was preceded in death byher husband and a son, Leland Gould.

Survivors include sons Gene Evans and his wife, Arlis, of Detroit, Mich., Tony Gould and his wife, Doreen, of Auburndale, Fla., and Monte Gould and his wife, Karen, of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; eight grandchildren, Yvonne Thompson and her husband, Tim, Monte Lee Gould and his wife, Lisa, Wendy Sowski and her husband, Rick, Kim Simmons, Robert Errington and his wife, Gina, Kenny Gould, Greg Horne, Jeff Horne and Jeni Netzlof; numerous great-grandchildren; and family friend, Mike Switzer.

Services will be 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17, 2006, at the City of Libby Cemetery.

Nelson & Vial Funeral Home handled arrangements.
