Carney cares, participates

To the Editor:

I believe voting is a right and a privilege.

When I vote, it is not important to me whether the person is a Democrat or a Republican, man or woman. I vote for the person I know cares about the people and issues they are representing.

I vote for the person that I have seen work in and for my community, whether it is an election year or not. I vote for the person who I see working and participating "every day" for the things that make our community a better place.

I am voting for Eileen Carney on Nov. 4.
