Commissioners mistaken on haul road location

To the Editor:

In regards to the letter the commissioners wrote in response to Glenn Garrison's letter, the road the commissioners are referring to as the haul road is not the haul road.

The haul road runs behind the different homes and the road in question runs in front of the different homes.

I have lived up in the area since 1958. I am old enough to know it was never a part of the haul road.

If the commissioners would like me to show them where the haul road was I would be more then willing.

My current husband and his friend logged the lower flat in 1954. They skidded the logs down the dirt driveway straight to where Gene Lein had a mill on the property.
