Readers saddened by death of editor

To the Editor:

Although we never met Roger Morris, we felt like we knew him from years of reading The Western News and especially from his columns.

We are saddened that Roger died. We were impressed with his balance of letters and columns on the editorial page, showing more than one side to issues in a sometimes touchy community. We hope his replacement will be of the same quality and have as much involvement in the community.
