| November 28, 2006 11:00 PM

Carl Lundstrom, 79, of Libby died of natural causes at home on Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2006.

He was born in Dodson on Sept. 10, 1927, to Emil and Ruth Holzheimer Lundstrom.

A lifelong Montanan, Carl was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed camping and hunting, family events and sporting events, especially involving his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Judy Lundstrom of Libby; his twin sister, Inez Hanson and her husband, Norman, of Libby; daughters Linda Lundstrom of Anchorage, Alaska, and Jeanne Lundstrom of Billings; sons Art Lundstrom and his wife, Mary, and Dan Lundstrom and his wife, Lori, all of Malta, John and Jack Graham, both of Phoenix, and Jay Graham and his wife, Judy, of Libby; 13 grandchildren; a new great-grandson; and many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by a grandson.

The family is not holding a memorial or service, according to Carl's wishes. In honor of his love of mountains and the outdoors, his ashes will be sprinkled in the Cabinet Mountains this summer.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Libby Sports Booster Club.
