Kudos to county crews for flood response

To the Editor:

The Lincoln County road crew certainly needs to be commended for their efforts during the recent flooding we experienced on Election Day.

Their fast and efficient efforts on Cherry Creek, Granite Creek and other overflowing creeks certainly saved the county taxpayers and private citizens thousands to millions of dollars.

Addressing the extreme forces of nature can be a complex and tricky endeavor in our mountainous environment. The Lincoln County road crew's diligence in service to the community is certainly appreciated.
