Vehicle ruts make trail hard to negotiate

| May 26, 2006 12:00 AM

To the Editor:

I would like to thank the idiot that drove a motorized vehicle down on the River Trail, when it was muddy. He made deep ruts in the road a long ways down. Now they are hard and dry.

I have been riding bikes on this trail for 13 years and have never had a problem. Sunday, I was going down a hill and hit one of those ruts and went flying.

So again, I would just like to say thank you for ruining our bike and walking trail.

It would be nice if government would follow its own rules. No motorized vehicles on the trail.
